Heat Exchangers
Plate-type and related industrial heat exchangers for process heating, cooling and recovery — with Grandeh fabrication for ducts, dampers and plant structures.
What heat exchangers does Grandeh supply?
Grandeh focuses on plate-type heat exchangers (PHE) — compact units with a large heat-transfer area in a small footprint — plus related industrial fabrication for thermal systems. Corrugated plates create turbulent flow that improves duty while remaining accessible for cleaning and plate replacement, suited to liquid–liquid and steam–liquid services.
Where heat exchangers are used
- Process heating and cooling loops
- Heat recovery between hot and cold streams
- Utility water / glycol circuits
- Pasteurisation, CIP and food / beverage duties (material dependent)
- Complementary cooling or heating alongside boilers, SCAPH and WHRB systems
Main elements
| Element | Role |
|---|---|
| Corrugated plates | Primary heat-transfer surface; pattern sets turbulence and ΔP |
| Gaskets (where applicable) | Seal channels and define flow paths between plates |
| Frame / carrying bars | Clamp the plate pack and allow opening for service |
| Connections & nozzles | Hot / cold fluid inlets and outlets to plant piping |
| Tie bolts / tightening hardware | Maintain sealing pressure on the pack |
What information is required to select a heat exchanger?
Hot-side process data
- Fluid name / composition and physical properties (or a known fluid)
- Flow rate (m³/h or kg/h)
- Inlet and required outlet temperature (°C)
- Design / operating pressure and allowable pressure drop
Cold-side process data
- Fluid name / composition and properties
- Flow rate and inlet / outlet temperatures
- Design pressure and allowable pressure drop
Mechanical and site preferences
- Preferred plate material (e.g. SS304 / SS316) and gasket type
- Fouling factors and cleaning / CIP expectations
- Connection sizes, flange standard and footprint / height limits
- Whether the unit must open for plate inspection on site
Share both streams’ data with your enquiry — we will propose a practical plate count, channel arrangement and materials.

FAQ
What data is required to select a heat exchanger?
Hot and cold fluid properties, flows, temperatures, allowable pressure drops, design pressures, fouling factors and preferred plate / gasket materials.
What services can Grandeh heat exchangers cover?
Liquid–liquid heating and cooling, selected steam–liquid duties, and process heat recovery where compact, serviceable heat transfer is preferred.
Does Grandeh also supply related plant fabrication?
Yes — dampers, ducting, expansion joints and structural steel for boiler and heat-recovery projects.
